Continuous Open Bidding

Continuous open bidding (COB) is a way for sororities to recruit a few women to join chapters after or before Primary Recruitment. It is very casual and unstructured, and since not every sorority participates, it is hard to say which sororities will be participating in a given semester. Sororities will participate in COB if they are under quota (the number of potential new members to which each chapter can offer bids to during formal recruitment). If you are interested in sorority membership and a chapter invites you to a COB event, you are encouraged to attend. If you missed primary recruitment, COB is a great way to become a member of one of the sororities at Lehigh.

Eligibility for COB:

• 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher

• Cannot be a first year student in your first semester

• In good conduct standing with the university
